Answers for evaluating the platform.
Pricing and billing, migration and onboarding, daily operation, data ownership, and support — the questions florist owners and operators ask during an evaluation, answered in detail.
Pricing and billing.
Do you charge a percentage of order revenue?
No. FlorioPosy is a flat monthly subscription in Canadian dollars — $149, $349, or $549 depending on plan. Your payment processor charges its own standard rate. There is no per-order fee and no commission on retail sales, events, or weddings.
What are the card processing rates?
Processing rates are set by Moneris or Stripe under your own merchant account. FlorioPosy adds no margin and does not hold funds — settlement goes directly to your bank account.
Is there a contract or a setup fee?
Neither. Plans are month to month and can be cancelled at any time. Migration of your catalog, customer records, and inventory lists is included in the subscription rather than billed separately.
Can the price change after I subscribe?
The rate you subscribe at is the rate you pay, in Canadian dollars. Any pricing change affecting existing accounts is communicated well in advance, and because plans are month to month you are never held to a term. Ongoing releases and the capabilities they add are included in every plan.
Migration and onboarding.
How long does migration take?
Most businesses are fully live within a week; a studio that runs no retail point of sale (POS) can be completed in an afternoon. The sequence is a walkthrough call, data import while your existing system remains in service, a day of parallel running for verification, then cutover. We stay closely involved through the first two weeks of live operation.
Does my customer history carry over?
Yes. Migration covers customer records, order history, inventory lists, standing orders, and proposals. You review the imported data before the account goes live, so every record is confirmed before cutover.
Can I keep my current website domain?
Yes. Your e-commerce storefront runs on your own domain, usually your existing .ca. If you do not hold a domain yet, we help you register one under your ownership.
What if FlorioPosy is not a fit for my business?
We say so on the walkthrough call, before any commitment and before any spend. If the platform does not serve the way your business operates, we tell you directly rather than proceeding.
Daily operations.
How does the platform handle peak weeks?
Peak volume is a core design requirement. Delivery slots are capped by hour and by zone, order cutoffs close automatically, production work is sequenced by delivery window rather than order time, and deliveries are grouped into routed runs for drivers. Capacity limits are configured before the week begins, not during it.
What hardware do I need?
A modern computer or iPad for point of sale (POS), a receipt printer, and a card reader from Moneris or Stripe. The production display runs on any screen you already have, and drivers use their own phones. No proprietary terminals and no leased hardware.
Is the storefront available in French?
Yes. The customer-facing e-commerce storefront is bilingual English and French, and customers who order in French receive their confirmations in French. Quebec accounts show TPS and TVQ as separate lines on every receipt, tracked apart for remittance.
How does Canadian sales tax work?
Tax is applied at the rate your province charges — a single HST line in Ontario and the Maritimes, GST and PST tracked separately in the West, TPS and TVQ in Quebec — with a remittance report ready at filing time. The full provincial table is on the Canada page.
What support is included?
Support is included in every plan; there is no premium tier for getting help. Issues and requests raised through support inform the product roadmap, and the platform is improved on a regular release cycle.
Data and ownership.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It goes with you. Customer records, orders, inventory lists, and proposals export to CSV at any time, without a request to us and without an export fee. Data portability is a standing feature of the platform, not a closing procedure.
Do you compete with florists for orders?
No. FlorioPosy sells software, not flowers. Your storefront, your domain, and your customer records belong to your business, and our only revenue is the platform subscription.
How do you address vendor risk?
Two structural safeguards. Your data exports to CSV at any time, so nothing is locked inside the platform; and your domain and customer records are registered to you, so the assets your business runs on survive any change of software, including a change away from us.
Why don’t you show customer testimonials?
We do not publish testimonials we have not been given. As accounts come on board and offer their comments, we will publish them with names and business names attached. Until then, a walkthrough of the working product is a firmer basis for a decision than praise you cannot verify.
