What we collect, and what we don’t.

FlorioPosy is operated from Alliston, Ontario, Canada. This policy covers florioposy.ca — this marketing website. It does not cover the FlorioPosy application used by florist customers, which is governed by the agreement with each shop.

What we collect

What you send us. If you fill in the contact form, we receive the fields you complete: your name, shop name, email address, phone number, province, the system you run today, and your message. We also record which page you submitted from. Every field except your name and email is optional, and you decide what goes in the message.

What the server sees. Like every website, ours is reached over the internet, so our host records ordinary technical information: IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. Our form endpoint also holds your IP address in memory for up to ten minutes to limit automated abuse. It is not written to a database and it is not attached to your inquiry.

What we don’t collect

No advertising or analytics trackers. No cookies. No pixels from social networks. Nothing stored in your browser. We cannot tell you how many people visited this page last week, because we do not measure it.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use what you send for one purpose: to answer you, and to have the conversation you asked for about whether FlorioPosy suits your shop. Submitting the form is your consent to be contacted about that inquiry. Technical logs exist to keep the site running and to protect it from abuse.

We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not send marketing you did not ask for. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone, for any price.

Who else handles it

We keep the list of outside services short, and use them only to run the site:

• Vercel — hosts this website and keeps standard server logs. Content is served from their global network, which means a request may be handled outside Canada.
• Resend — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox as email.
• Microsoft 365 — hosts the info@florioposy.ca mailbox where your inquiry arrives and where our reply is written.
• Google Fonts — serves the typefaces this site is set in. Your browser requests those files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. We send Google nothing else.

Because these providers operate outside Canada, information handled through them may be stored or processed in other countries, including the United States, and may be subject to the laws of those countries. We have no other data-sharing arrangements, and we do not disclose your information to anyone else except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Inquiry emails stay in our mailbox while the conversation is live and for as long as we may reasonably need them afterwards — ordinarily up to two years — then they are deleted. Rate-limiting records disappear within ten minutes. Server logs are kept by our host on their own schedule, measured in weeks, not years.

Ask us to delete your inquiry sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights

Canadian privacy law — principally PIPEDA, and provincial law where it applies — gives you the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, and to withdraw your consent and have it deleted. Residents of Quebec have further rights under provincial law, including the right to have information transferred to you in a structured format.

Write to info@florioposy.ca and we will answer within thirty days. There is no charge, and you do not need to explain why you are asking.

If you are unhappy with how we respond, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca, or to your provincial privacy regulator.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. The contact form validates and length-limits everything it accepts, throttles repeated submissions, and does not store what you send in any database of ours — it goes straight to email. Our security contact and disclosure details are published at /.well-known/security.txt.

No service can promise perfect security, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something goes wrong that puts your information at real risk of harm, we will tell you and the appropriate regulator, as the law requires.

Children

This site sells business software to flower shops. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than slipped in quietly.
