A board that lives at the design table.

Restaurants have kitchen-display systems for a reason. The Bench is that same idea, for a design table: every order becomes a card, every recipe becomes a checklist, and every countdown is right in front of you.

What it does

Three things it does very well.

  • 01

    Recipes as checklists

The card doesn't just say “Dusty rose market bouquet” — it lists every stem, in the count you need, in a checklist a designer can actually work off of.

  • 02

    Time-slotted, not just a queue

Every card carries a pickup or delivery slot. The Bench sorts and colour-codes by what's due next — the 4pm pickups always float to the top.

  • 03

    Notes travel with the ticket

“No lilies — allergic” is on the customer's file, not on a Post-it. Notes ride with the card from Counter to Bench to Van.

The detail

Stem counts, live from the cooler.

Every stem on every recipe pulls from a live cooler count. The Bench turns red when you're one bunch away from short, so you order before Wednesday's flower run — not after.

Cooler · Tuesday, 2:47pm Live
  • Dusty rose market 12 stems Enough for 6 bouquets
  • White ranunculus 4 stems Short for tomorrow's book
  • Eucalyptus · seeded 3 bunches Enough
  • Ruscus 2 bunches Enough
  • Blush lisianthus 0 stems Out · on Wednesday order
