Delivery dispatch and routing, built into order management.

Orders group by zone and time window into sequenced runs. Drivers work from a single stop list on their own phone, buyers receive a delivery window and a live tracking link, and proof of delivery is stored on the order.

What it does

Three core capabilities.

  • 01

    Zone and time-window dispatch

Define delivery zones and windows — 1pm–3pm, 3pm–5pm. Orders are grouped by zone and window and sequenced into a route for each run.

  • 02

    Buyer notifications and tracking

When a run starts, the buyer receives a text with the delivery window and a live tracking link showing the vehicle on a map.

  • 03

    Photographic proof of delivery

The driver captures a photo at the delivery point. It is stored on the order and the customer record, available for dispute resolution and for sharing with the sender.

The detail

Buyers are notified the moment a run starts.

Notifications are sent automatically when the driver departs — the delivery window and a live tracking link — and again on completion, with the delivery recorded against the order.

How a run works

A delivery run, start to finish.

  1. 01

    Runs are built automatically

As orders are marked complete in production management, they group by zone and delivery window into the next run. The route is sequenced before the driver is ready to leave.

  2. 02

Drivers work from their own phone

Stops in sequence, turn-by-turn directions, and the delivery notes attached to each order — buzzer codes, loading dock access, alternate recipients.

  3. 03

    Proof of delivery is captured

A photo at the delivery point, timestamped and attached to the order. Where an order is handed to a person, the recipient’s name is recorded alongside it.

  4. 04

    The buyer is kept informed

One text when the run starts, carrying the delivery window and tracking link, and a second confirming the order has been delivered.

  5. 05

The run closes out in order management

Completed stops post back against each order. A failed delivery is recorded with a reason — wrong address, no answer at the door — and queued for a second attempt. Dispatch and routing are extended with each release, informed by operator feedback.

Delivery questions.

Do drivers have to install anything?

No. A run opens in any mobile browser from a link. Seasonal and casual drivers are given a single day’s route the same way, with nothing to set up and no account to remove afterwards.

What if I use a courier some days?

Export or print the run and hand it to the courier. Delivery confirmations still return through a link, so the order record stays complete when a third party carries out the delivery.

How do delivery zones and fees work?

Zones are defined by postal code or distance, each with its own fee and order cutoff. The e-commerce storefront applies the correct fee at checkout and withdraws same-day delivery once a zone’s cutoff has passed.
