Customer relationship management for florists.

Customer relationship management (CRM) consolidates each customer into a single record: order history and lifetime value, card messages, delivery addresses and recipients, stated preferences and allergies, and photographs of every arrangement they have received. Every module in the platform reads from it and writes back to it.

What it does

Three capabilities at its core.

  • 01

    One record per customer

Each record holds order history, lifetime value, ordering frequency, delivery addresses, recipients, stated preferences, and every card message sent. Staff see the complete account before they take the next order.

  • 02

    Occasion reminders

Anniversaries, birthdays, and recurring order dates are held on the record. Upcoming occasions appear in the daily briefing and can trigger automated reminders sent in your shop’s name.

  • 03

    Loyalty and trade accounts

Loyalty points and store credit are tracked on the customer record. Trade customers can be assigned wholesale price lists and net-30 accounts, administered alongside retail customers.

The detail

Shared account notes, attributed and dated.

Every customer record carries a running note — allergies, product preferences, recipient names, delivery instructions. Each entry records its author and date, and is visible to every staff member with access to the record.

Always for her mother in Toronto — usually Thursday morning. Card usually reads “For Nana.” Prefers dusty rose & ranunculus, no lilies (mother is allergic). Delivery to the concierge at Yorkville Terrace, not the door.

Marie Feb 14, 2024

Valentine’s Day — first in-store visit. Prefers to be addressed by first name (Emi). Confirm card wording back to her before production.

First order. Referred by Sarah at Yorkville Terrace. Weekly standing order at the time; account continuous since.

The record over time

One customer record, from the first order onward.

  1. 01

The first order creates the record

Name, contact details, card message, occasion, and order value are captured from the sale itself, whether it is taken at the point of sale (POS) or through the e-commerce storefront. No separate data entry.

  2. 02

    Card messages are retained

Every card message a customer has sent stays on the record. On a repeat order, staff retrieve the previous wording and reuse or amend it without asking the customer to recall it.

  3. 03

    Occasions recur on schedule

Ten days before a dated occasion on the record, marketing automation sends a reminder in your shop’s name showing what the customer sent the previous year.

  4. 04

House accounts for trade and corporate customers

Funeral homes, hotels, and corporate buyers are set up on net-30 terms with a consolidated statement issued at month end, so recurring orders do not require payment details on every transaction.

  5. 05

    The data is yours

Every customer, order, and message exports to CSV on demand. FlorioPosy does not email your customer list, sell it, or market to it.

CRM questions.

Does the CRM include marketing automation?

Email and SMS broadcasts and automatic occasion reminders are included. Multi-step drip campaigns and journeys are available on the Shop plan and above. All messages send in your shop’s name, from your address. The marketing capability set expands with regular platform releases, prioritized by customer request.

Will my customers get email from FlorioPosy?

No. The only messages your customers receive are the ones your shop sends. FlorioPosy does not market to your list, and no FlorioPosy branding appears in your customers’ inboxes.

Can existing customer data be imported?

Yes — from any system that exports CSV. Import is handled as part of migration, and you review the imported records before they go live.
